“I said yes!!!” and “I Jewish now” was the way Singer Azealia Banks choose to announce her engagement to her boyfriend Ryder.
The pair have been dating for a few years and it is clear that the two are indeed in love. There is also the question of who is her fiancé, Ryder? Based on his Linkedin account, Ryder is currently Creative Director for OKFocus and is a conceptual artist/graphic artist by profession. He also previously worked with the likes of Kanye West.
This engagement seems to shine some hope on the rapper’s music career to her fans. In recent years the rapper stirred up more one-sided beefs than hits. Some of the notable feuds included Rihanna, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj and more recently Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat both of whom she called fat amongst other things.
Though fans were happy about the engagement, nothing Azealia Banks does goes without shaking up controversy. It was the “I am Jewish” statement that didn’t sit right with many. Many fans look forward to promising steps in her music career and her staying out of trouble. Others aren’t to thrilled with her antics.
