With Chris Rock being Chris Rock, he would crack a couple jokes to the audience. The comedian paid his attention to the lovely Jada Pinkett-Smith. He made a joke and asked Jada if she would not want to star in a remake of G.I. Jane since she had a bald haircut due to alopecia. Will laughed it off but it can be seen that Jada did not share a similar reaction, but then Will angrily went up on stage and slapped Chris Rock right across the face!
The audience at the Oscars was quite confused, not knowing whether it was a skit or that just actually happened. This scene then went on to go viral almost immediately.

Chris Rock is Being Canceled For Joke about Nicole Brown After Being Asked to Host 2023 Oscars
Chris Rock is being canceled for cracking a joke about Nicole Brown, the late ex-wife of O.J. Simpson while performing in Phoenix on Sunday when he reportedly told the audience he was asked to host the 2023 Oscar Awards.
Rock told the Phoenix audience he declined the offer to host next year’s Oscars because it would be like asking Nicole Brown to go back to the restaurant where she ate her last meal before being stabbed to death at her home later that night. Rock, 57, was a presenter at the 2022 Oscars in March when former A-list actor Will Smith slapped him for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head.
