Dancehall Fans Mad About Vybz Kartel Vaccination Campaign Suggestion

The Gaza Nation is furious.

Fans of Dancehall legend Vybz Kartel, have taken to social media to express their outrage after Professor Carolyn Cooper pronouncement On Sunday 22 August that Addi Di Teacher Palmer should be considered by the Government  to play a lead role in urging Jamaicans to take the jab. One day later Isat Buchanan Vybz Kartel’s attorney concurred that Kartel should be considered by the Government, which is seeking to get 65% of the Jamaican population inoculated against COVID-19 by March 2022.

This recent pronouncement that Vybz Kartel is inclined to take the COVID-19 vaccine infuriated fans just as much as they were befuddled by it. Beneath ZJ Sparks’ Instagram post fans sounded off.

These were some of the comments:

“If Kartel do that I will never say Gaza again to bloodclaat,” chappalaw said, while bowlegged_kelly added: “Know the Gaza fans dem nuh believe that, cah trick wi”.

Some fans expressed horror, and urged him not to take the jab claiming that here was a plot afoot to get rid of him once and for all, by way of the vaccine.

“Lmfao government a real play ground enuh. This man Inna lock up. Yall make sure lock him up enuh because yall wanna get rid of him because he influential… NOW YALL WANT KARTEL FI MAKE PEOPLE TAKE VACCINE ??? WANT THE MAN DO OONU DIRTY DEEDS… government ya very mixy. Never see a government so bare face and dry eye enuh,” ms_ixlandchick wrote.

“Gaza me seh but all if a Kartel mek it me nah tek it,” west_side_256 said.

G-Eazy Arrested Moments Before Met Gala

Rapper G-Eazy was arrested on Monday evening following a Friday night brawl at the Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel in New York.

The rapper and his crew allegedly got into an altercation with another group of men around 1 a.m. It was reported that someone in G-Eazy’s crew hit socialite Daniel Chetrit over the head with a bottle. The scuffle moved outside where G-Eazy allegedly punched another man in the head.

Gerald Gillum “G-Eazy” was taken into custody Monday at 5:30pm and was charged with misdemeanor assualt for striking the alleged victim in the face, causing pain and redness. It is unclear if the other individual was charged as well.

Daniel Chetrit, well-known real estate developer Joseph Chetrit had to get stitches in his head as a result of the blow dealt. G-Eazy’s alleged victim refused treatment. The rapper’s arrest happened whilst celebrities were preparing for Monday’s Met Gala.

Veteran Saint Lucian Songwriter says “Trini-Bad” Is Ruining Our Youth

Is Trini-Bad, a subcategory of dancehall music ruining our youth. This newest sub-genre of music took off some where around 2018 and has become a staple of music accross the region. Despite it’s melodious hooks and overall good sound, in most of the songs the yrics take on a more violent sound, even glamourizing violent behavior.

On the Sept 14 episode of Real 91.3FM’s hit talk show with host Timothy Poleon, one caller expressed his views on many sociatel issues as to why our quality of youth is degrading. This caller isn’t no ordinary joe off the street in fact he is veteran Calypso writer JahT.

JahT holds many accolades to his name. He produced 6 roadmarch songs during his stint as a writer and has written most of Saint Lucia’s greatest Calypso hits. As a man who is intuned with the social sciences of our country he expressed his views on the damage he believes Trini-Bad music is doing in our country. Here’s what he had to say:
