Rapper G-Eazy was arrested on Monday evening following a Friday night brawl at the Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel in New York.
The rapper and his crew allegedly got into an altercation with another group of men around 1 a.m. It was reported that someone in G-Eazy’s crew hit socialite Daniel Chetrit over the head with a bottle. The scuffle moved outside where G-Eazy allegedly punched another man in the head.
Gerald Gillum “G-Eazy” was taken into custody Monday at 5:30pm and was charged with misdemeanor assualt for striking the alleged victim in the face, causing pain and redness. It is unclear if the other individual was charged as well.
Daniel Chetrit, well-known real estate developer Joseph Chetrit had to get stitches in his head as a result of the blow dealt. G-Eazy’s alleged victim refused treatment. The rapper’s arrest happened whilst celebrities were preparing for Monday’s Met Gala.
